Public BBQ

A well-equipped playground on the Kincumber Broadwater, suiting toddlers through to primary school age, with a flying fox that is the clear favourite, a rock climbing wall, slides, swings and a good deal else. Outdoor gym equipment sits alongside for adults, and a bike and walking path runs through, which makes it a useful rest stop on the Brisbane Water cycle route. There are toilets, barbecues, tables and a water refill station that is reliably working. The park is open to both the road and the water with no fencing at all, which is the main thing to weigh with small children. Some equipment is tired and the ground turns muddy after rain. Dogs are permitted, and the waterside walk is lovely.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Central Coast (NSW) council.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
